Nursery is available for babies through 4-year-olds during the worship service, and Children’s Church is available for PreK – 2nd grade during the sermon.

What do I do when I arrive?2022-09-07T15:30:17-04:00

Our building can be confusing! The front steps lead straight into the sanctuary, and the side door entrance opposite Elizabeth Avenue (facing the parking deck) leads to the Nursery, Café, and classrooms. Our Welcome Team will greet you when you first come through the front sanctuary doors and are ready to answer any questions! You’ll also find a table there with information about the service, a worship guide, and resources for kids. If you enter using the side entrance, walk straight past the stairs to the elevator foyer and you’ll see our Nursery Greeter, who will help you figure out where to take your kids and help you get where you need to be.

What are your worship services like?2022-01-31T22:51:20-05:00

The musical style of Uptown is contemporary but also draws from the influence of traditional hymnody. We value new melodies and contemporary texts, and we cherish the richness and depth of traditional hymns that have stood the test of time. Song lyrics are printed in the worship guide. Our pastors typically preach through books of the bible (both Old & New Testament) for several months at a time. Occasionally we will have a shorter sermon series on a specific topic. Click HERE to listen to past sermons! The worship service typically lasts until about 11:45am. Uptowners will often mingle on the front lawn after the service, weather permitting – this is a great time to connect and ask more questions!
