As many of you know, for the last two years Andrew Newman has been serving Uptown Church as the worship intern and has been writing this worship blog to help us prepare for worship each Sunday. With Andrew graduating and headed to Florida to serve with RUF, I will be coming on as the new worship intern. I’m really excited to have the opportunity to serve Uptown in this way and look forward to continuing to meet and get to know everyone at Uptown.
My wife, Becca, and I have been attending Uptown for about a year, and I started at RTS in the fall. Prior to moving to Charlotte we served with RUF at Covenant College and met while attending college at Samford University in Birmingham.
I look forward to serving the church each week by helping to direct our hearts towards God in worship.
