Preparing for Worship // May 27, 2018

Hi Uptown Church. I am Connor Fredrickson, and I will be taking over for Barr as the Uptown Worship Intern. I spent the past few years doing campus ministry overseas and just finished my first year at RTS. I moved from San Diego to Charlotte almost a year ago and still stumble over my answer for why anyone would move away from San Diego. I would have been lost and miserable if the Lord had not directed me to Uptown. I remember sitting in the very back row of the balcony being blown away by the commitment to Scripture, the strength of community, and the God-centered worship I saw on my very first visit. I have been using Barr’s blog posts to orient my heart towards worship since then, and am humbled and honored by the opportunity to take up the reigns and grow in the Lord with you all.
