A Note from the Uptown Kids Team:

Dear Parents,

We wanted to be able to give you access to the lessons and worksheets that your children would be learning in their Sunday School classes each week. In addition, we are also planning on resourcing you with weekly story readings, and additional online resources to support you at home! We know this season at home has been confusing but we are praying these resources will be a blessing to you and your family as you worship and study together at home. As a Children’s Ministry Staff, we are praying for you and your kiddos in the midst of this season. We love you and we love your children!

In Him,
The Uptown Children’s Ministry Team

Advent Jesse Tree
During the month of December, we will use the Advent Jesse Tree to trace the plan of salvation through the Old Testament to the birth of Christ.

Some Suggestions:

1. In Sunday school classes teachers use the worksheets in the beginning of class to introduce the lesson, or at the end of class. It may be fun to let your children do the worksheet at the beginning or end of your time!

2. One idea for your weekly worship could be to read the scripture passage to your children, or have one of your children read the scripture to the family.

3. After reading scripture, you can ask a few follow-up questions and engage in a family discussion with your kids to dig deeper into the lesson and God’s Word!
