God Cleanses Us

Raise Up The Crown

O. Holden | E. Perronet | J. Reeves | C. Tomlin

All hail the pow’r of Jesus’ name

Let angels prostrate fall

Bring forth the royal diadem

And crown Him Lord of all

Bring forth the royal diadem

And crown Him Lord of all

Ye chosen seed of Israel’s race

Ye ransomed from the fall

Hail Him who saves you by His grace

And crown Him Lord of all

Hail Him who saves you by His grace

And crown Him Lord of all

chorus

Raise up the crown

Rise on the praises

Rest on the brow

Of the King of the Ages

Raise up the crown

Rise on the praises

Rest on the brow

Of the King of the Ages

Let every tribe and every tongue

Before Him prostrate fall

And shout in universal song

The crownèd Lord of all

And shout in universal song

The crownèd Lord of all

chorus

Raise up the crown

Rise on the praises

Rest on the brow

Of the King of the Ages

Raise up the crown

Rise on the praises

Rest on the brow

Of the King of the Ages

(repeat)

O that with yonder sacred throng

We at His feet may fall

We’ll join the everlasting song

And crown Him Lord of all

We’ll join the everlasting song

And crown Him Lord of all

Raise A Hallelujah

J. Stevens | J. Helser | M. Helser | M. Skaggs

I raise a hallelujah

In the presence of my enemies

I raise a hallelujah

Louder than the unbelief

I raise a hallelujah

My weapon is a melody

I raise a hallelujah

Heaven comes to fight for me

chorus

I’m gonna sing

In the middle of the storm

Louder and louder

You’re gonna hear my praises roar

Up from the ashes hope will arise

Death is defeated, the King is alive

I raise a Hallelujah

With everything inside of me

I raise a Hallelujah

I will watch the darkness flee

I raise a Hallelujah

In the middle of the mystery

I raise a Hallelujah

Fear you lost your hold on me

chorus

I’m gonna sing

In the middle of the storm

Louder and louder

You’re gonna hear my praises roar

Up from the ashes hope will arise

Death is defeated, the King is alive

Sing a little louder

(In the presence of my enemies)

Sing a little louder

(Louder than the unbelief)

Sing a little louder

(My weapon is a melody)

Sing a little louder

(Heaven comes to fight for me)

(repeat)

chorus

I’m gonna sing

In the middle of the storm

Louder and louder

You’re gonna hear my praises roar

Up from the ashes hope will arise

Death is defeated, the King is alive

The Lamb Has Overcome

L. Morton

The Lamb has overcome

The Lamb has overcome

The battleʼs done

And the victory is won

For the Lamb has overcome

No grave could hold him down

No grave could hold him down

Up from the ground

“He is risen!” was the sound

No grave could hold him down

At Godʼs right hand is he

At Godʼs right hand is he

Our Perfect Plea

As he lives to intercede

At Godʼs right hand is he

chorus

Worthy is the Lamb who was slain

Glory be unto his name

Worthy is the Lamb who was slain

Glory be unto his name

The table now is spread

The table now is spread

This wine and bread

Broken body and blood shed

The table now is spread

The day is drawing near

The day is drawing near

He shall appear

And will wipe away each tear

The day is drawing near

chorus

Worthy is the Lamb who was slain

Glory be unto his name

Worthy is the Lamb who was slain

Glory be unto his name

(repeat)

The Lamb has overcome

The Lamb has overcome

The battleʼs done

And the victory is won

For the Lamb has overcome

Song of Preparation
The World Will Know

M. Cosper | B. Ritter

Our faith adores thy bleeding love

And trusts in one that died

We hope for heav’nly crowns above

Redeemer crucified

Great was the vict’ry of His death

His throne exalted high

And all the nations of the earth

Shall worship or shall die

Shall worship or shall die

chorus

The world will know the righteousness

Of our incarnate God

And nations yet unborn profess

Salvation in His blood

Salvation in His blood

Let the vain world pronounce it shame

And mock our righteous cause

We come to boast our Savior’s name

And triumph in His cross

With joy we tell the scoffing age

He raised and left His tomb

He lives above their utmost rage

Oh come Lord Jesus come

Oh come Lord Jesus come

chorus

The world will know the righteousness

Of our incarnate God

And nations yet unborn profess

Salvation in His blood

Salvation in His blood

See from His head His hands His feet

Sorrow and love flow down

Did e’er such wrath and mercy meet

Or thorns compose a crown

Or thorns compose a crown

chorus

The world will know the righteousness

Of our incarnate God

And nations yet unborn profess

Salvation in His blood

Salvation in His blood

Song of Response
You Never Change

A. Ivey | J. Reeves | M. Dawes

Oh may I run to no other refuge

No other rest for my soul

Oh may I drink from no other fountain

Where living waters will flow

Jesus You’re all I need

Jesus You’re all I need

chorus

You are my life, may You be lifted high

There is no other like Jesus Christ

You are my story, You’re my everything

You are my glory, my God and my King

You are my rock and You never change

You never change

No other power

Can break the darkness

No other hand that can save

Forever faithful Your love is stronger

I trust in no other name

Jesus You’re all I need

Jesus You’re all I need

chorus

You are my life, may You be lifted high

There is no other like Jesus Christ

You are my story, You’re my everything

You are my glory, my God and my King

You are my rock and You never change

You never change, You never change

You never change

My strength to stand

All of my days are in Your hand

My light to see

Your glory goes before me

My strength to stand

All of my days are in Your hand

My light to see

Your glory goes before me

My King You reign

My rock and You never change

No, You never change

chorus

You are my life, may You be lifted high

There is no other like You Jesus Christ

You are my story, You’re my everything

You are my glory, my God and my King

You are my life, may You be lifted high

There is no other like Jesus Christ

You are my story, You’re my everything

You are my glory, my God and my King

You are my rock and You never change

You never change, You never change

You never change, You never change

Benediction

Reflection & Application

  1. Why do you think the “thousand years” and the term “Millenium” inspire so many predictions about the end of history? Does the cross reference to Luke 10:17-20 help you understand the purpose and message of this passage?

  2. What does it mean that the “saints reign” from thrones given to them? Who are these saints? How does this passage correlate to the many passages about the martyrs throughout Revelation?

  3. What’s the “first resurrection”? What’s the “second death” (cf v 14)?

  4. Much is made in our culture’s imagination about “Armegeddon.” Does vv 7-10 describe what the culture thinks it does? What does it symbolically portray?

  5. What’s the point of the judgment depicted in v 11-15?
