James Herring

Originally from New York City, James grew up in the church but came to know the Lord through RUF when he went to college at Northwestern. He is currently a seminary student at RTS Charlotte and an intern at Uptown Church.

James feels particularly called to a ministry of discipleship, evangelism, and counseling. He also loves playing piano, watching movies, and trying new coffee shops! He met his fiancé, Avery, at RTS and they are excited to see where the Lord calls them.
